ABOUT PRISM

Inspired by space travel and the speed of light traveling in prisms – imagined jumping into the light of the prism, through the shards and tones, how the color would hit and stick, to at some point becoming a complete color, then change, again.
Rainbow and prism spectrums were the focus.
I wanted to use materials that felt like retro sky-dive and fantasy space suits – down, nylon, cashmere, satin and thermal. Paint splash was also used to give an energy blast of motion, along with small bits of shiny metallic and gold – space and mineral dust in mind.
